Fayetteville - Last week, Expedia released their annual list of top 25 “Best American Towns for Holiday Shopping.”  Fayetteville, the only North Carolina town on the list, secured the 16th spot.

Expedia analyzed three million social media mentions relating to conversations about local shops and holiday markets to develop their 2017 list. From there, they extracted the most “buzz-worthy” places for their annual list.

According to Expedia Communications Specialist Jodie Booras, “Fayetteville stood out for such events as Holly Day Fair and a Dickens Holiday.”  The article also mentions Your Wicker Home & Christmas Wonderland Shop.
